Karl Lagerfeld often uses his own line as a start point to to explore cuts and fabrics. It also give him an outlet for his love of black that combines softness with an edge. This dress is based on lingerie and has the same feel a couture piece of lingerie would have. The silk satin is like liquid and cut on the bias so it shapes and molds itself tot he body underneath. Silk tulle net is patterned to form a sharp angular design tn the tulle on the upper bodice and flared, full inserts are down along each side of the skirt so as you walk and move you get a sexy glimpse of skin underneath. I love the low back and the tightly spaced row of buttons that finish. Excellent, appears unworn condition.

Unlined and cut on the bias. It closes with a series of silk covered buttons and loops down the back. Tagged a 42 but of course check the measurements given

Note that the bias cut means that the measurements given below the bust are very flexible- we have noted the maximum the fabric goes comfortably.
